The Norton's Point Line

Now the B74 Mermaid Ave Line, the Norton's Point trolley operated on a Private right of way from Stillwell Ave to West 37th St. Many parts of the ROW are still visible in the 1990's. The PRW pictures were taken on July 11, 1948. The daylight Stillwell pictures were taken on July 25, 1948. The night shot is of the last car on the morning of November 7, 1948. The ramp up to the Stillwell Ave station is visible from the street in photos on the 86th Street Photo Page.
