This PCC car is turning into the West 5th St Depot. It has reached the end of the McDonald Ave Line in Coney Island. In the background is the Brighton/Culver el. The curved power poles were to accommodate an amusement ride that was next to the depot. |

This PCC has turned off of Surf Ave and is heading north to McDonald Ave. The W.5th St depot is to the right and the park on the left is where the B68 buses layover today. |

This PCC is crossing Sheepshead Bay Road at the private right of way between Coney Island and Neptune Ave. Today, Neptune Ave is the cross street. Behind the car is a power station. To the left of the car is the Brighton Laundry. |

Here is another view of the Sheepshead Bay private right of way. These tracks were in place until at least the 1980's. I understand they were donated to the Shoreline Trolley Line. The car is a Peter Witt type. Again, that is the Brighton Laundry on the left and the power station on the right. |

This PCC is the one of kind Brooklyn car #1000. It was built by the Clark Equipment company. It is on the private right of way heading to Coney Island. The power station is at the extreme right of the photo. |

Car number 1013 has just passed under the Van Sicklen station of the Culver el. This is the old alignment of Neptune Ave which actually crossed under the station. Today we would be arrested for trespassing into the first floor of the Warbasse Houses. After Neptune Ave was aligned to the south (where Sheepshead Bay Road was), The train station was known as Van Sicklen, then Neptune Ave-van Sicklen, and now Neptune Ave. The name Van Sicklen was for the owner of the property not any street near the station. |

Here Don turned around and is facing south. The car is turning from the private right of way into the old alignment of Neptune Ave. The Van Sicklen Station is off the photo to the right. |

This is on McDonald Ave looking north at about Avenue Z. The PCC on the right is heading north. The Peter Witt and the other PCC under the el are heading to Coney Island. The Coney Island Subway yard is on the left off of the photo. |

This photo was taken inside the Coney Island Yard on the tracks of the South Brooklyn Railway. Yes, that's a boxcar just on the right edge of the photo. There's a PCC on McDonald Ave outside the fence and the BMT Standards on the Culver line above. 'C' Tower that protects moves onto the el from the yard is visible in the background on the left. |
